Darwin the Botanist Exhibition

As part of Heritage Open Days 2024, Shrewsbury Unitarian Church is holding an exhibition that will explore the many botanical discoveries Darwin and his contemporaries made, including other members of the congregation and local Shropshire botanists.

Find out about the weird and wonderful world of plants from around the world, journeying through the tropics, arid deserts and mountainous regions. Darwin attended Shrewsbury Unitarian Church as a child and his first teacher was the minister at the Church.
