September's Off the Shelf talk will feature the ‘Diary of a Tramp and a Philosopher’.
The free, 10-minute spotlight talk will delve into this wonderful diary of a walk across Herefordshire and Shropshire in 1867. It was purchased at auction through the generous support of the Friends of Shropshire Archives (accession 9786). Archivist Sal Mager has been exploring the diary.
