Tanners cellars tour and carols

Let us gather for an evening of carols at Tanners as we bring some Christmas cheer through the many beamed rooms and cellars of this wonderful building.

As the longstanding home of Christmas spirit in Shrewsbury - not just the drinkable variety - we invite you to join us here at Tanners as we indulge in a little old-fashioned festive merriment. The evening begins with a guided tour of our historic and beloved Wyle Cop premises and to finish off, we shall warm up the pipes and sing a few carols in the Passageway – trust us, the acoustics are fantastic!

Guests will be greeted with a glass of Tanners Cava topped up with a tot of Tanners sloe gin before we commence a candlelit tour of the old cellars.

This year we are absolutely thrilled to invite Shrewsbury Male Voice Choir, who will rally us together to enjoy their rich timbred tones in a handful of yuletide classics and a selection of old favourites from the repertoire.

Local caterer Ed Potter of Oak Apple Catering will be providing his delicious homemade mince pies and we shall end on a little Tanners Port, and why not!
