DarwIN Shrewsbury Festival

Celebrate Shrewsbury's favourite son at the DarwIN Shrewsbury Festival this February. 

With over twenty festival and fringe events ranging from guided tours to brainteasing lectures and inspirational workshops, there's something to suit all tastes and ages. 

Highlights include Darwin's Worms, a lecture from the London Natural History Museum's Senior Curator Emma Sherlock, guided tours of Darwin's childhood garden and a showing of the 2009 Darwin biopic Creation. 

Take advantage of free entry to Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery, February 14th - 16th, and drop in on some Darwin themed art workshops. 

Jonny Awsum is coming to town!

St David’s Day Concert

Theatre Severn, February 29th 

Celebrate the patron saint of our Welsh neighbours as the North Wales Association of Male Voice Choirs comes to Theatre Severn for the annual St David’s Day concert. 

This year the concert will be led by two superb choirs, Côr Meibion Trelawnyd and Côr Meibion Flint, with soloists Sara Davies, a wonderful soprano, and Xander Croft a young violinist from Greenfield. 

This event is always hugely popular, so make sure to book now and save disappointment!
