Whether by boat on the Severn or on foot through the town's shuts and passageways, discover the darker side of Shrewsbury, with murders, suicides, hauntings and more.

Family-Friendly Halloween Events

Halloween is a time for both children and children at heart. There are a multitude of events and workshops running throughout town to keep little ghouls of all ages entertained, from film screenings to craft workshops and storytellings.

Adult Halloween Events

Halloween is a time for both children and children at heart. Shrewsbury has a number of nightlife events happening throughout the fortnight surrounding Halloween.

There are a number of ghoulish food events and offers running throughout Shrewsbury, Bella Napoli is offering 15% off (with a copy of the After Dark Guide) until November 2rd, Glouglou will be offering a themed menu during Halloween week, and if you collect your Domino's order in full costume on Halloween you'll be in with the chance of winning a large pizza.

If you're looking for spooky cocktails head to Blind Tiger on Hills Lane, Montgomery's Tower on Lower Claremont Bank, The Alb on Lower Smithfield Road, and Bombos on Wyle Cop which will be running happy hour all week from 5pm-7pm and all night on Sunday.

Many of Shrewsbury's pubs and bars will also be running themed events including Bandaoke at Albert's Shed (Oct 31), Spooky Open Mic at The King's Head (Oct 31), Halloween Night at The Bull's Head (Oct 31), and End of Days Karaoke at The Albion Vaults (Nov 1).
