Autumnal ‘Wild’ films at The Hive

A ‘Wild’ Autumnal film season is starting at The Hive on Sunday 1 October with a screening of ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ at 4pm.  The Hive is a super friendly venue in Shrewsbury Town Centre, perfect for either a first cinema experience, or a relaxed cinema visit for one and all.

Programming Manager, Emma Croall, said of the new season ‘we hope that the public, whatever their age, will find something to suit their tastes this Autumn.  All of our films, either at 4pm on Sundays, or 11am on weekdays are set in the wild or have a wilderness theme to them.  Autumn seems the perfect season to screen such films’.

In October films being screened include Where The Wild Things Are, Bridge On The River Kwai, Duma, Project Wild Thing, and a talk by Lou Emerson – producer and researcher for BBC Wildlife, and The Searchers.   All films are £4 adults, £2 children (u16’s) and £2 for 60+.

Full details of the film programme and everything else on at The Hive can be found at www.hiveonline.org.uk, by phoning 01743 234970, or by popping into the venue at 5 Belmont, Shrewsbury, SY1 1TE.
