The Shrewsbury Arts Trail

About

Building on the success of the first Shrewsbury Arts Trail in 2021, the 2022 trail is going to be supersized and this year the theme is '‘Be Inspired’

From July the 1st to August the 31st, the whole town will be a hub of creative activity, with some very famous artists involved and a chance for local artists to raise their own profiles too. A dazzling sculpture trail by the world-famous and colourful artist Andrew Logan will take centre stage in this year’s Shrewsbury Arts Trail. Famous works will be exhibited alongside artwork by local artists, inspired by and responding to these ‘big names’.

Be inspired by artworks from David Hockney, Andrew Logan, Damian Hirst, L.S. Lowry, Ian Berry, Hallima Cassell MBE, George Morton-Clark, Andy Warhol, Endre Roder, and Mark Payne.

We are asking local artists to create a work of art in response to the above artists (or any other artists who inspire you) with a chance for your work to be displayed during Shrewsbury Arts Trail with a shortlist being exhibited at The Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery.

Make sure to Check out the Andrew Logan Sculpture Trail, which you can find in key locations throughout the town centre.
