University Centre Shrewsbury's Carol Service

About

Members of the public are invited to join voices with University Centre Shrewsbury (UCS) staff and students at the institution’s third annual Christmas Carol Service.

The event takes place at St Chad’s Church on Thursday, December 12th and is open to all.

People are invited by Professor Anna Sutton, Provost of UCS, Councillor Peter Nutting, Leader of Shropshire Council, and Sir David Lees, Chair of the University for Shropshire Advisory Board, to come along from 6pm for music and prayers at St Chad’s, opposite the Quarry in Shrewsbury.

Some of the traditional carols to be sung at the service will include Hark! The Herald Angels SingO Little Town of Bethlehem and Oh Come, All Ye Faithful.

Readings will also be given by staff and students from UCS, as well as members of the community.
