Drapers Hall

10 St Mary's Place

A Shrewbury Original since

Drapers Hall is a well preserved Elizabethan building. For over 550 years it has been a meeting place for merchants and traders and, for almost 20 years, it has held a reputation for being one of Shropshire's finest classical restaurants.

There are six five star bedrooms and a popular bar specialising in cocktails and unusual beers, while Drapers Hall can also cater for up to 50 diners in the restaurant, weddings and private dinners for up to 85 and stand up parties on two floors for up to 150 guests. The colourful outside terrace is like a honeypot on warm evenings.

The restaurant's food will satisfy most critics. Modern twists on classics are served in the bar and terrace. Drapers Hall is open daily but pre-booking is recommended for weekends.
