Help Us Make Shrewsbury the UK's First Ever Town of Culture
Something exciting is happening in Shrewsbury - and we need your help to make it a reality.
We're putting Shrewsbury forward as a candidate for the UK's first ever Town of Culture. If we're shortlisted, the town receives £60,000 to invest in culture. If we win outright, we're talking £3 million invested in Shrewsbury's cultural future. In a time when arts and culture funding is hard to come by, that would be transformative.
But a bid like this is only as strong as the community behind it. So we've put together a set of short surveys - for adults, young people, businesses and school-age children - asking what culture means to you, what Shrewsbury does well, and what you'd love to see more of.
Your responses will go directly to the team shaping our application, so every answer counts.
Find your survey below and take five minutes to have your say - the deadline for responses is the 28th of March:
I'm in primary school (aged 8–11)
I'm doing this with a child who is in primary school (aged 4–7)
You can choose to give us your email address to stay informed about our progress, but other than that, all responses are completely anonymous. No personal information is collected or shared.
