Parking is available throughout Shrewsbury, with 12 Shropshire Council-owned car parks, as well as several smaller privately run car parks and 3 Park and Ride routes. Parking in a Shropshire Council-owned car park is a breeze when you use the MIPermit app.

Shrewsbury Park and Ride
- Choice of three sites; Harlescott, Meole Brace and Oxon

- Monday to Friday: buses run every 12 minutes from 8am to 5pm
- Saturday: buses run every 12 minutes from 10am to 4pm
- Outside of these times, buses operate up to every 20 minutes
- No service on Sundays or bank holidays
- All park & ride buses are wheelchair-accessible

- Accompanied children under 16 years – FREE (children under the age of 16 aren't allowed to travel unaccompanied on any of the park and ride services)

- Four-week saver** - £32 per person (entitles the passenger to unlimited journeys on any of the Shrewsbury park and ride services within a consecutive 28-day period)
- Contactless payment is available on all park and ride buses
Parking info
- Free parking is available at all Shrewsbury park and ride sites. You only pay per person for bus travel, with tickets purchased directly on board
- CCTV coverage is available at each site, although it's limited. Please note that vehicles are parked at your own risk. Shropshire Council and its subsidiaries can't accept responsibility for any damage or loss
- Closing times: Oxon and Meole Brace car parks are locked shortly after the final bus arrives from the town centre (approximately 6:40pm).
- All park and ride car parks are closed on Sundays and bank/public holidays
Dogs
- Passenger assistance dogs, such as guide and hearing dogs, will always be carried free of charge.
- Other animals that aren't considered a danger or nuisance to other passengers will be carried free at the driver’s discretion. The passenger taking the animal on the bus will be responsible for any damage, loss or injury arising from its presence. The animal must not travel on the seats.

Normal car parking charges apply with one extra free hour added to time purchased for the designated disabled parking space in St Julian's Friars, Bridge Street, Frankwell Main, Riverside and Quay, Shirehall and St Austin's Street car parks.
Wheelchair-accessible buses operate on all three Park and Ride routes. Normal charges apply.
