About this event

In 1926, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy appeared together for the first time in 45 Minutes from Hollywood. The following year they would become an official comedy partnership that would set the whole world rocking with laughter. Nobody could have anticipated at the time how this unlikely Anglo/American comedy duo would become global icons.

Neil Brand has established himself as the foremost exponent of silent film and improvised piano accompaniment, and invites you to celebrate those 100 years in this brand new production. Thanks to new restorations of their silent films, and the rediscovery of some of their lesser-known comedies, Neil will uncover gems of hilarity, and bring them to life with live piano improvisations.

Join Neil as he shares his knowledge and expertise with audiences and provides a unique insight into Laurel & Hardy and the birth of the cinema industry.
