About this event

The Phoenix Singers are delighted to celebrate our 60th anniversary with a performance of one of the greatest choral works in the repertoire, Bach’s St John Passion, in the spiritual atmosphere of Shrewsbury Abbey.

We will be joined by Noxwode Baroque on period instruments, and by professional soloists including Mark Dobell of The Sixteen as the Evangelist. 

Licensed bar and coffee will be available.

This will be the final concert conducted by our current Musical Director, David Thomas.
