The Beefy Boys Fire Up the Great British BBQ at Waterstones Shrewsbury

Award-winning burger legends The Beefy Boys are bringing smoke, fire and flavour to Waterstones Shrewsbury on Thursday 7 May 2026, from 6.00pm–7.30pm.

The event celebrates the launch of their new book, The Beefy Boys’ Great British BBQ, a definitive guide to barbecue, that aims to banish soggy sausages and boring burgers to reclaim the much-maligned British barbecue. Packed with recipes ranging from low-and-slow ribs and smoky roasts to steaks, chops and their famous burgers, the book draws on Britain’s rich fire-cooking heritage and global culinary influences.

Fans can meet the Beefy Boys as they talk BBQ, answer questions, and sign copies of their book. If we are lucky there may even be some tasty samples on offer.

From food truck beginnings to five thriving UK restaurants and multiple national awards, The Beefy Boys are redefining barbecue - rain or shine. Come along to meet the boys and buy a signed copy of the book so that you can use their secrets to cook up a storm in the comfort of your own back garden! (Umbrella not included.)
