Discover the joy of botanical drawing in this relaxed, supportive course designed for beginners and beyond.

Using simple shapes and clear, step-by-step guidance, you’ll learn how to build beautiful botanical compositions with confidence.

You’ll explore how to use fine liners to render your drawings, creating depth and texture. Each session introduces new skills, allowing you to steadily progress and develop your own style.

By the end of the course, you will be able to confidently draw a variety of flowers, multiple types of foliage, and learn how to bring them together into balanced compositions.

Expertly led by professional local artist Emma Williams, this small-group course ensures everyone receives plenty of individual attention. Sessions take place in the stunning Darwin Room at Shrewsbury Library, offering a calm and inspiring setting.

Emma creates a warm, welcoming environment where you can slow down, find your flow, and enjoy mindful creativity.
