Josh O'Connor leads the cast in this searing revival of Clifford Odets' knockout American classic, broadcast live to Theatre Severn's Walker Theatre from London's Almeida Theatre.

Set in 1930s New York, Golden Boy tells the story of Joe Bonaparte, a gifted young violinist torn between his love of music and the lure of fast money and fame in the brutal world of professional boxing. Brought to life with a live string quartet, this new production is directed by Olivier Award-winner Sam Yates.
