Over 3 sessions, you’ll enjoy 2-hour sessions packed with practical techniques, artistic inspiration, and hands-on guidance.
Session 1: Brush Techniques & Fundamentals
Dive into the essentials of watercolour painting. Learn foundational brush techniques, blending methods, and how to achieve the perfect paint texture and consistency. This session sets the stage for creating stunning, professional-quality art.
Session 2: A Bit of Everything!
We’ll start with flowers and petals, then move on to painting a bird—perfect for practicing shadows, layering, and texture. After that, you’ll explore laying out a simple landscape. These exercises will prepare you for the third and final week, where you’ll create a full landscape featuring mountain ranges, trees, and a water feature.
Session 3: Landscapes, Light & Final Masterpiece
Take your skills to the next level by exploring landscape painting, focusing on balancing light and shadow, creating depth, and using masking techniques to add dimension. Then, combine everything you’ve learned throughout the course to create a final masterpiece that highlights your growth, reinforces key techniques, and encourages creative expression.
By the end of the course, you’ll walk away with beautiful artworks and a strong foundation to continue your watercolour journey.
