Over three two-hour sessions, you’ll enjoy tutorials packed with practical techniques, artistic inspiration, and hands-on guidance.

Please note, this listing is for session 1 - for the full benefit of the course, you should attend all three.

Session 1: Brush Techniques & Fundamentals

Dive into the essentials of watercolour painting. Learn foundational brush techniques, blending methods, and how to achieve the perfect paint texture and consistency. This session sets the stage for creating stunning, professional-quality art.

Session 2: Painting Florals

Bring nature to life as you explore the delicate art of painting flowers, petals, and leaves. Discover techniques to form intricate shapes and realistic textures while capturing the beauty of floral subjects.

Session 3: Landscapes, Light & Final Masterpiece

Take your skills to the next level by exploring landscape painting, focusing on balancing light and shadow, creating depth, and using masking techniques to add dimension. Then, combine all you've learned throughout the course to bring your ideas to life in a final masterpiece, reinforcing key techniques and encouraging creative expression.

By the end of the course, you'll walk away with beautiful artworks and a solid foundation to continue your watercolour journey!

Please note that the class is held on the upper floor of Hopefully Made, accessible via a narrow and steep staircase, which may not be suitable for individuals with mobility concerns.
