Join us as we welcome Kaori of te. by kao.

Kaori is the maker behind te. by kao, meaning “handmade by Kaori.” Born in Osaka and raised near Tokyo, she brings a distinctly Japanese sensibility to her work, blending simple forms, playful details and considered design. Now based in Shropshire, Kaori creates from her garden studio, where she has been crafting beautiful ceramics since founding te. by kao in 2016. Her work spans homeware, accessories, and bespoke pieces, all made with a focus on functionality, quality, and quiet beauty.
