About El Català
El Català is a Mediterranean restaurant with a strong influence from traditional Catalan cuisine. The menu takes inspiration from the flavours and culture of Spain, complemented by Italian and Greek dishes that celebrate the wider Mediterranean region.
Head chef and co-owner Sam brings years of industry experience and a passion for Mediterranean cooking, shaped by his time in Spain and his love of the region’s relaxed yet vibrant food culture. The restaurant sources fresh, local produce wherever possible, supporting local suppliers while recreating the warmth and flavour of Mediterranean dining.
With roots in Catalonia, the team is proud to share the traditions and tastes of the Mediterranean - inviting guests to enjoy an atmosphere that feels both welcoming and sun-soaked.
