Shrewsbury retains top spot as Britain’s Best High Street in Telegraph ranking
Shrewsbury took top place for a second year in The Telegraph’s Britain’s 20 Best High Streets feature, beating larger locations like Edinburgh and more.
With its meandering streets and blush sandstone castle wrapped in a loop of the Severn, Shropshire's compact county town is ideal for wandering and window shopping.
