Shrewsbury Market Hall is Britain’s Favourite Market – again!

This is the second win in a row for the Market Hall and the third win since 2018.

Shrewsbury Market Hall has been crowned Britain’s Favourite Market 2024, for the third time in its history and the second year running!

Britain's Favourite Market is selected through a national public voting campaign run by the National Association of British Market Authorities (NABMA), and is the most prestigious of the annual Great British Market Awards.

Shrewsbury Market Hall first won the title in 2018, before reclaiming the crown in 2023, and now defending it in 2024.

David Preston, NABMA Chief Executive, commented that Shrewsbury Market Hall had received "huge support" from the public in a year when the competition had received the highest ever number of votes.
