Shrewsbury: one of Britain's most underrated towns

Shrewsbury is one of Britain's top three underrated towns according to a recent study by Betway, reports The Mirror.
Our beautiful spot ranked third out of fifty towns analysed based on indie shopping scene, number of cultural landmarks, restaurant ratings, and live music events, as well as how many times each town featured on TikTok! (On this note, we'd like to make a correction - Shrewsbury does not have 18 independent shops, it has more than 100!)
Shrewsbury was the only Midlands town to feature on the list.
Shrewsbury earned high marks for its array of independent retailers, highly-rated restaurants and music events. Nestled on the banks of the River Severn, the town offers numerous pubs with scenic views.
Shrewsbury is less than an hour from Birmingham by car or train, and is easily accessible via the M6 and M54 motorways or direct rail services, so there's no need to take the experts' word for it - come and see for yourself!
