Information
The Victorian chapel-like building on the bank of the River Severn in Shrewsbury in fact houses two steam-driven beam engines which pumped sewage until 1970.
Customers can explore the building and see the steam engines in action as well as other family friendly exhibits and activities.
The Station is opened to customers on select dates throughout the year. Open days are run by volunteers of the Shrewsbury Steam Trust.
