Information
The Crown at Abbey Foregate is a well-established thriving community local pub, serving classic pub food and drinks all day.
This dog-friendly welcoming “Cask Marqued” local offers numerous quality real ales, and locally sourced wines and serves premium draught lagers and ciders.
The pub is made up of two separate rooms, the first is the “Tap Room Bar” which includes five TV screens to catch all the sporting action from Sky and BT Sports. The second is the “Lounge Room” offering quality pub food and drinks in a cosy warm lit atmosphere seven days a week.
At a weekend after food service, the lounge is often host to live music from local artists.
The “Tap Room Bar” has the added bonus of being able to be made private if needed which makes it ideal to accommodate functions such as Birthdays, Christenings or Wakes.
We have a hidden beer garden which has powerful heaters and is 50% covered, so it is useable all year and during all weathers.
This grade 2 listed building overlooks the historic Shrewsbury Abbey and is just a stone's throw from the convenient Abbey Foregate Car Park.
Open 7 days per week and late at the weekends, The Crown Abbey Foregate really is a great place to visit in Shrewsbury.
