Multi-award winning Wool shop specialising in British, natural and ethical yarns and fibres. We are delighted to supply knitting, crochet, felting and spinning necessities and fripperies including notions, books, patterns, buttons and a curated selection to interest stitchers.
Our own brand hand-dyed local wool, Shropshire Ply, from sheep and alpacas no more than 20 miles from here is available in 4 Ply, double knitting and aran weights. Kettle dyed in small batches, it will knit or crochet to standard patterns. We also produce hand painted no-nylon sock yarn and a delicious Corriedale-mohair blend.
We stock well-known brands like West Yorkshire Spinners, Jamieson's of Shetland, Opal, Knit Pro, Merchant & Mills, New Lanark Mill, Laine, Jamieson & Smith, Schoppel Wolle and Fyberspates as well as interesting niche brands like Frangipani, CaMaRose, Onion, Maison Sajou, Emma Ball, The Wey of Wool and Nurturing Fibres.
