Listen Audio is a family-run, home audio retailer in the heart of Shrewsbury, offering great customer service and a dedicated listening room for product demonstrations.
We have a good range of high-quality equipment including turntables, digital sources (CD, streaming), radios, amplifiers, loud-speakers, sub-woofers, headphones, hi-fi racks, cables and accessories.
Prior arrangement of demonstrations is recommended but not always essential. We also have a ramp for easy access.

- Do you service turntables?
Yes, Rega and Linn turntables, but not the electronic parts of these. Additional charges apply for some parts (e.g. belts and cartridges).
- Do you sell surround-sound systems and TVs?
No. We focus on two-channel stereo music systems, many of which can improve the sound from your TV using either HDMI or optical connection.
- Is there step-free access?
Yes, there is a permanent ramp from the pavement and inside the shop.
- Are children welcome?
Yes, if supervised.
- Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately, no.
- Where's the best place to park?
Blue Badge parking and loading bays are available a few metres away outside Cromwell's Tap House.
Otherwise, The Parade car park is nearest or, for a larger car park, the NCP Wyle Cop or St. Julian's Friars car park.
- What's the nearest bus stop?
Directly opposite our shop on Dogpole.
- How do I find you?
We're easy to find - in the 19th century former chapel directly opposite the bus-stop on Dogpole.
- How can I pay?
Card, contactless, cash, bank transfer (BACS) or a mix.
- Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes, these can be purchased over the phone and sent digitally, or purchased in-store for a physical voucher.
- Do you deliver, or offer click-and-collect?
Phone-and-collect is available. Delivery and installation are available within 20 miles. Charges apply for un-boxing and installation.
- Do I need to book?
We actively encourage you to listen before you purchase a product and recommend phoning us in advance to book a demonstration session, but this is not always necessary.
- What's your returns policy?
Faulty products will be exchanged or repaired (by the manufacturer) according to the manufacturers policy.
- Do you buy, repair or take trade-ins?
We are able to arrange some repairs via the maufacturer (e.g. Naim, Rega, Cyrus, Ruark). We cannot repair products for brands we don't stock.
We consider trade-ins. Please ask us for more details.
- Do you offer any discounts?
20% off cables when buying a complete music system.
- Do you take walk-in appointments?
Yes, whenever the listening room is free.
- How long does an appointment take?
Allow 1-3 hours depending on what you are considering purchasing.
- Do you cater for specific needs?
Our listening room is wheelchair accessible.
