Shropshire Mental Health Support: Providing Quality Services Since 1974

For nearly 50 years, Shropshire MHS has been committed to providing quality free mental health services to the people of Shropshire.

Shropshire Mental Health Services is located at Observer House on Holywell Street in Shrewsbury, just a short walk away from Shrewsbury Abbey. Our services include a variety of structured groups and activities, Calmer Cafe Sessions, and weekend drop-in groups. Furthermore, we provide support from our well-being vehicle which tours the county every week, offering much-needed support to those who require it.

Our services are diverse and tailored to meet the unique needs of everyone. We understand that some people need support in many areas of their lives, while others may need support for only a short while. We aim to provide justice and equality of access to services for all while ensuring respect for users is at the core of everything we do.

At Shropshire MHS, we believe that every service user has the right to make choices about their own life. We partner with clients to ensure that their choices are respected and preserved.

We are committed to raising awareness, reducing stigma and educating our community on mental health issues. We are open and available to anyone who needs help, working together, being responsive and taking action, speaking out fearlessly and independently, and never giving up in the face of challenges.
