Alicia Gardener-Trejo Quartet

As part of a tour showcasing her debut album ‘Home/Lands’ Alicia Gardener-Trejo (baritone sax, Flute, bass flute) brings her exciting quartet to SJN at the Hive. Featuring the individual voices of Andrew Woodhead (piano) Brodie Laird-Jarvie (double bass) and Jonathan Silk (drums) their music plays with the sonic possibilities of low woodwinds & double bass, experimenting with fresh ideas of melody & bassline responsibilities. With strong influences from the world of jazz and folk, Home/Lands features intricately crafted melodies and strong improvisations.
