About this event

A UNIQUE opportunity to create jewellery within the house Charles Darwin was born in and using acorn cups fallen from the Downy oak in the grounds - a champion specimen - as listed in the National Tree register, and planted by his father.

You will learn all the steps in making your acorn cup charms - supported by an accredited guide - to then finish into your choice of a necklace, earrings or pendant.
You may choose instead to make different charms from offered project choice in the studio - simple ring beads, seed charms or simply charms imagined!

Leave worries behind - All the workshop resources will be provided by Feretia, along with the tools needed for the project and will include light refreshment.

Other than that - just bring yourselves and a packed lunch or call ahead for this to be catered.
Please wear closed toe shoes and if you have long hair, grab something to bring to tie it back when firing.

Fine silver has a purity 99.9% and may be hallmarked as such. The precious clay Feretia uses is a recycled resource waiting for you to bring to new and sustainable life again.

Feretia welcomes children from 11 years with an accompanying, paying adult
