Meet the Romans – Friday 9 Jan 2026
Who were the Romans? What were their lives like? What were they doing in Britain and what did they leave behind?

In this workshop children will have a chance to work like archaeologists, considering what may be left behind by our ancestors and what clues can be found to tell us more about them. They will handle real Roman finds discovered in Shropshire before examining other beautiful and fascinating items which can help us to piece together a picture of what life in Roman times would have been like.
