About this event

On this course you will take an in-depth look into different dressmaking techniques as well as understanding how they work and how to attain the perfect finish, building your confidence or just brushing up on your skills. Discover notches, darts, facings, buttonholes, zips, working with stretch fabrics, how to read and understand commercial patterns, with a view to making a basic garment to end the 4-week block.

Each course is tailored to each individual to cover at least 2 new skills per session so, if you can't make the 4 week block don't worry we'll still be able to get a couple of skills covered.

Catering for all sewing enthusiasts, from beginners to experts! All of our courses are held in our state-of-the-art classroom which is situated in house in our shop! Our classroom hosts a fantastic range of good quality tools and accessories, with each customer having the use of one of their own Juki sewing machine and overlocker for the duration of their course, so no need to worry about bringing your machines in!

For the majority of our courses, we provide absolutely everything required to complete that course, all you need to do is turn up! Upon booking you will receive an email containing booking confirmation along with information for specific course requirements, if there are any!

Dates for the 4 week block: Friday 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd November
