Celebrating over two decades together, Laid Blak represents the heart of Bristol’s eclectic soundsystem culture. Formed by rave and jungle veterans DJ Bunjy and MC Joe Peng, the group expanded into a full live band that fuses reggae and ska with hip-hop, funk, and what they describe as “street soul.” Renowned for their live sets, they are staples on the UK festival circuit and have shared stages with reggae legends like The Wailers, Toots and the Maytals, and Damian Marley. With accolades including a Reggae Album of the Year award for From the Vaults and their track “Red” famously covered by Ed Sheeran, Laid Blak continues to deliver a distinctive, high-energy sound that connects with audiences across the UK.
