Meet the Makers: Georgi Panayotov winemaker & Linley Farm market garden

Join GlouGlou an evening experiencing the rich and untamed beauty of the Balkans through its natural wines and vibrant food.

Georgi Panayotov, a specialist in the wines from his home country Bulgaria and the surrounding regions, will guide us on a tasting journey across the Balkans. Born in a village at the crossroads of Greece and Turkey, Georgi grew up among the vines, helping his father and grandfather in the family vineyard. His deep-rooted passion for indigenous grape varieties and the stories behind the region's winemakers shines through in every bottle he shares.

We're excited to also welcome Phoebe, Lead Gardener at Linley Farm a local organic, biodynamic and no-dig garden. Phoebe will share the everyday challenges and patterns of the way they farm and what this means for their seasonal produce. All the food on the night will feature produce from Linley, paired with a rolling Balkan feast and conversation from both Phoebe and Georgi.
