Meet the Makers: Wine and Cheese Night

Love wine and cheese but don't know how to pair them? We have the perfect experience for you... we will be hosting a Wine and Cheese Pairing Night with local producers Trefaldwyn, Dairy Door and Wine Producer: Stonebird.

Come down for a guided tasting experience learning about the process of making cheese and wine from the people who make them! We have the following on show:

• Trefaldwyn Ruby Red - Teku Teku Rose
• Trefaldwyn Blue - Azul y Garanza Salvaje Blanco
• Dairy Door Bartie's Brie - Stonebird Gonzo NV
• Dairy Door Halloumi - Artisan Vignerons de Naoussa, Xinomavro Red

Think of this as an evening to explore your tastes, pairing different foods and trying wines you might not have considered...

Tickets are 32.50 each and includes four cheeses, four wines, bread and four sides with talks provided by Stonebird Wines, Dairy Door, Trefaldwyn and our very own gloumellier.

These tastings are held at Glou Glou, 17a Castle Gates in Shrewsbury, starting at 7pm and finishing by 9pm. However, the bar is open from 4 - 11pm so there's plenty of time for another glass.
