CSONS Shrewsbury is excited to be part of Shrewsbury Restaurant Week once again and this year, we’re doing something a little different. We're taking on a Sunday roast but, in true CSONS style, we're serving up an Italian roast!

In Italy, the Sunday roast isn’t just a meal, it’s a beloved tradition. Think long afternoons spent around the table, sharing food, stories, and laughter with family and friends - sounds perfect to us!

Here’s what we’ll be serving:

Sharing Starter;

CSONS focaccia, Olive Press olives, arancini, white bean hummus, salsa verde, grilled Cornish octopus salad (veg/vgn alternative)

Mains, choose from;

- Rosemary & garlic half chicken, creamed leeks, salsa verde (for 2 to share)
- Fearneylea Farm porchetta, apple, fennel and garlic stuffing, roast squash puree
- Gurnard fillet, puttanesca
- Mushroom & celeriac stew, pangrattato, pickled redcurrants (vgn)

Sides for the table to share;

- Lemon & garlic roast potatoes
- Baked polenta, Little Hereford cheese
- Charred cabbage, sage, butter
- Herefordshire honey roast seasonal roots

Puds, choose from;

- Biramisu (our amazing tiramisu made with Hobsons Dhustone Stout)
- Shropshire damson frangipane, plum, ice cream, amaretto

You get all of the above for a set price of £35 per person.

Table slots for booking: 12:30pm & 2:30pm - Spaces are filling up fast, so if you’d like to join us, be sure to book soon!
