Shrewsbury Folk Festival 2025

Shrewsbury Folk Festival combines a stellar line-up of folk, world music and Americana along with slick production and a friendly vibe, making this event one of the most sought-after for tickets.

The festival has gained an international reputation for its eclectic line up, programming some of the best in UK traditional and contemporary folk as well as North American and Canadian artists and other world music. This year’s line-up includes Levellers, Oysterband, Natalie MacMaster & Donnell Leahy, Skerryvore, Judie Tzuke, The Henry Girls, 9Bach, Jim Moray, The Fontanas, The Laurettes, Naomi Bedford & the Ramshackle Band and lots more!

But Shrewsbury is about so much more than the music. The festival, set on a glorious riverside site in easy reach of the historic town centre, is renowned for its relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

There’s four open air and covered music stages, a dance tent for ceilidhs, workshops and shows. Dedicated festivals-in-a-festival keep the kids and teens busy with music, dance, crafts, circus skills, silent discos and much more. There’s also workshops and activities for adults from yoga, crafting and countryside walks to singarounds and music sessions for the adults too. All included in the ticket price!

An artisan shopping arena, fabulous food village, real ale and cocktail bars with on-site camping and glamping top off the perfect festival experience.

Day tickets and weekend tickets are both available. Weekend tickets are available with or without camping, and give access to all four days of festival fun.
