Spark Young Writers - Shrewsbury Teen Group

Spark Young Writers is a project of Writing West Midlands which focuses on supporting young people aged 8-18 with a passion for creative writing.

Shrewsbury Teen group is aimed at young people in school years 7-13 (aged 11-18). We encourage young people to join one group for the year, as getting to know their fellow group members is an important part of developing as a writer.

We are pleased to be able to offer free places to those who receive free school meals or pupil premium funding at school. Please Spark Young Writers with any queries.

The young people will need to bring:

• a notebook or some paper
• a pen or pencil to write with
• a snack and a drink, if required
