Shrewsbury Town Council will be taking part in the Nation's VE Day 80 Commemorations on Thursday 8th May 2025.

8am - Shrewsbury's Town Crier, Mr Martin Wood, will announce the Proclamation for VE Day 80 in the Town Centre.

9am - VE Day 80 Flag Raising.

Approx 8pm - evening proceedings start in the Quarry at the War Memorial which will end with the lighting of a beacon in the Quarry and the reading of the National Tribute at 9:30pm
