Step into the past with Dr Natasha Harlow!

An introductory look at the transition from the Iron Age to Roman periods in Britain, with a focus on archaeological sites and finds from the Shropshire area.

What did it mean to be a Briton under Roman occupation? What challenges and opportunities did the Roman conquest bring people living in what is now Shropshire?

About the speaker

Natasha is a freelance archaeologist and educator who has worked in museums, schools and on archaeological sites for 25 years.

She recently published her first book, based on her PhD at the University of Nottingham, researching Iron Age and Roman artefacts. She currently works on British prehistory and the Iron Age to Roman transition.

Natasha is passionate about history and delivers a fascinating insight into how people lived in the distant past focusing on the history of Shropshire.
