Whisky Tasting

Join us for an evening sampling fine Single Malt Whiskies.

In August, we'll take a peek at different cask types used in the whisky industry. Bourbon, sherry, port, sauternes, tequila, red wine, cognac casks are used to varying degrees. We'll be taking a look at some drams which really exemplify some of these casks.

The tasting will start at 7:30pm and be held in the Prince Rupert Hotel Shrewsbury. The Prince Rupert is situated a few minutes walk from our shop on Butchers Row in the heart of the town. We will be utilising a large room in the hotel with ample space to seat all guests.

There will be 24 places for the evening and cost £30 per person. Tickets should be booked in advance either in the shop or by calling the shop on 01743 369429 (we can take card payments over the phone). Please note that tickets cannot be purchased or reserved via email.
