Job Information

Do you always have a welcoming smile on your face and love getting in to conversations?

Why not get to know the people from your community with this versatile volunteering role. Gain valuable experience in customer service adding value to your CV.

Our sales assistant volunteers are the first point of contact for customers when they enter our shops. As a sales assistant volunteer you will greet customers, help them find the items they’re looking for and answer their questions where you can. With support from the shop team, your invaluable efforts at keeping the sales floor well stocked and organised will help us make a mission possible by raising as much as we can to fund lifesaving research.

You will be serving customers, helping to promote our stock and awareness campaigns and encouraging every donor to become part of our Gift Aid scheme. If you want to get to know the community around you this is a perfect way to integrate yourself into your local area and become a part of our team.

This is a flexible retail assistant role where you can try different roles throughout the shop until you find your niche, such as putting your own stamp on the shop displays and getting trained to serve customers on the till.

Our shop volunteers are essential to the running of our shops - we couldn’t do it without them. Whichever retail assistant role you choose to do, you’ll be part of a small team providing raising funds to help the Midlands Air Ambulance.
