Located within Shrewsbury's Museum and Art Gallery and run by local couple Mike and Nicola Dalton, Stop. Cafe Bar is the second Stop. in Shrewsbury; their other branch is near the town's park in St Julian's Crescent. A third stop. has also been opened in the University Centre Shrewsbury, Guildhall.
Open seven days a week, the fully licenced cafe boasts the town's largest courtyard area and a really relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
There is a real emphasis on quality and the use of local produce at stop. From the award-winning coffee and the large range of speciality teas to the finest and widest selection of homemade cakes in Shrewsbury, all made on-site by baker Richy Wedge. Alongside the cakes, stop. offers an increasing savoury range, including; Coopers gourmet sausage rolls, paninis, Maynard's bacon sandwiches, homemade soup and daily specials. If customers fancy something stronger than tea or coffee, stop. offers a range of wine and local ales and cider.
The bright, colourful cafe space also plays host to musical events and is available for private hire.
