Celebrate Diversity and Unity this Weekend with Shrewsbury Pride 2025

The event promises a vibrant celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, and the whole town is invited to join in this fantastic day of solidarity and inclusion.
This year’s PRIDE is set to be bigger and better than ever, with a dazzling parade winding through the heart of Shrewsbury at midday, and live performances from local artists like Identity School of Dance, the People’s Show Choir, and more.
The day will also include a variety of businesses across Shrewsbury getting stuck in offering everything from delicious street food to handmade crafts. You can drop in and make a banner at The Hive, taste a special Pride Pale Ale at the Camra Beer and Cider Festival, test your music knowledge at the Tap & Can LGBT Music pub quiz, visit the Maker’s Market in all its Pride glory, take part in a screen-printing workshop at Hopefully Made, and so much more. Whether you’re a long-time visitor or attending for the first time, you’ll find a warm, welcoming atmosphere and plenty of opportunities to connect with others from all beautiful walks of life.
The organisers have lined up family-friendly activities, engaging talks, and safe spaces for everyone to enjoy. It’s a chance to show your support, learn more about LGBTQ+ rights, and simply have a great time surrounded by positive energy and community spirit.
Mark your diaries for 27 September and get ready to celebrate love, acceptance, and the beautiful diversity that makes Shrewsbury so special. Don’t forget to bring your flags, smiles, and your best dance moves!
