Flowers and books of condolence
Books of Condolence are now open across Shrewsbury so you are able to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.
You can find the Books of Condolence at the following town centre locations; Shrewsbury Castle, Shrewsbury Library, Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery, Shrewsbury Abbey and St Chad's.
For those wishing to express their sadness by laying flowers, floral tributes can be made at Shrewsbury Castle.
County Memorial Service for Queen Elizabeth
A service of Thanksgiving for the life of HM Queen Elizabeth will be held on Sunday 18th September in Shrewsbury Abbey. This service is for the whole of the ceremonial County of Shropshire, including Telford and Wrekin.
Up to 500 people are expected to attend, with representatives from councils, education, military and emergency services as well as faith groups, charities and businesses.
This service is open for anyone to attend, although seating is limited and will be on a first come first served basis.
