Mini Mammoths

Mini Mammoths run every Friday during term time

This is a very popular, whole-museum experience for children aged 1-5 to discover, play, connect and learn.

Join us each week as our Mini Mammoths explore a new theme – we may be singing, story-telling or getting hands-on with items from the collection! We always explore the museum and make a craft to take home.

There are opportunities for families to follow trails linked to special exhibitions throughout the year, and to get hands-on with the museum handling collection.
For grown-ups there’s tea, coffee and friendly chat too.
