Museum Late - Sun & Fire Twilight Event

Join us for a twilight event at SM&AG. Celebrating music and creativity inspired by the Sun & Fire exhibition.

This family evening at the museum is your chance to explore the exhibition with a party atmosphere! Come and enjoy the galleries to the sounds of a family-friendly DJ set, where you can try your hand at some fun ancient crafts, listen to tales from the past at a storytelling session, feel the primal sounds of our guest drumming group and reach out to the past with historic artefact handling.

We are encouraging everyone to dress in gold to celebrate the treasures on display! Our face painter will be on hand to add even more shimmer and sparkle.

No cooking for you that night, The Museum Cafe will be open and selling food and drink during this event, so dig out your sparkly socks and bring your bling! Timed perfectly just after the clocks change, we will have more daylight to enjoy the courtyard cafe. This event is suitable for all the family so treat yourselves to a night in town, it won't be the same without you.
