Once owned and managed by Tony Poole, one of Shropshire's greatest Crown Green bowlers and winner of numerous championships , finalist on seven occasions at the Waterloo, four as the winner including twice being Champion of Champions. He also holds the record for most games played for the county. With over fifty years experience at home and abroad advice on bowling is given with confidence and is readily and freely available.
A large selection of bowls and accessories for the flat green, crown green, indoor and short mat games from the top manufacturers form a large part of the business. Bowls, jacks, mats, measures are on display from Prohawk, Henselite, Drakes Pride, Taylor Bowls & Dawn Sportswear - all at discount prices.
Shropshire Trophy & Bowling Centre, established in 1982, carries a comprehensive range of trophies, cups and awards in stock and on display.
The engraving of all cups, names plates, plaques and tags is available on the premises with free engraving on all trophies purchased. Trophy discounts available for all clubs, again with free engraving.
Trophy catalogues are available on the premises and by post.
