Shrewsbury store celebrates decade of success

One of Shrewsbury’s flagship retailers is celebrating 10 successful years of trading in the town.

Audio visual specialists Bang & Olufsen opened a showroom in the High Street in 2006 after directors Roger Boyle and Richard Terry made a decision to relocate to the town from the south of England.

Roger commented: “We invested in the franchise business as we could see a gap in the market in Shropshire for these great products and we are happy to say we have not looked back.

“It has been an excellent decade, during which time we beat over 90 other retailers to become ‘dealer of the year’ and have consistently been voted as one of the top stores for customer satisfaction.

“We have built up a client base from throughout the county and beyond and like to think we have brought people into this fantastic town, which has an amazing range of shops and attractions and we hope we have added to the high quality retail offer here.

“It was a big decision for us to move here from the south of England – something of a risk – but we have not regretted it.”

Richard Terry added: “We all love Shrewsbury and have made many great friends and deal with some lovely customers and are happiest when helping people get the most from their televisions and sound systems.”

Danish company Bang & Olufsen has a worldwide reputation as producing stylish and quality products that enhance a home.
