Store expands to fill gap in market

A Shrewsbury business has announced an expansion, filling a gap in the county town’s market.

Acoustic Boutique, which opened in Shrewsbury’s Square 18 months ago, is bringing back the sale of mainstream televisions into the town.

David Whittaker of the store, which sells a range of music and cinema systems, speakers and headphones from manufacturers such as Bose and Sonos, said that the development was the result of a partnership with electronics giant Panasonic.

“There has not been an outlet in Shrewsbury for mainstream televisions for several years so this is good news for the town and exciting news for Acoustic Boutique as we are continuing to thrive and diversify.

“The televisions complement the specialist products we stock which are designed to enhance viewing enjoyment, such as soundbars and home cinema systems.

“Nothing can compare to visiting an independent retailer which is staffed by a friendly team and we are looking forward to demonstrating Panasonic’s range of ‘Viera’ televisions which feature some groundbreaking innovations, as well as the latest 4K technology.

“And if customers are confused by all the latest technology around at the moment we are here to guide them through it all and help to ensure they get the right product for their particular needs.

“This kind of personal service and back-up is one of the many benefits of buying locally.”

Raz Khan from Panasonic visited the store to assist with training and said: “It is good to work with such a great team of professional, enthusiastic and friendly people.”
