Sunday car parking offer in Shrewsbury is 'just the ticket'

Shrewsbury BID has announced a series of car parking offers for 2015 to encourage visitors to 'See Shrewsbury on Sundays'. The three month initiative will help back businesses operating in Shrewsbury town centre. Shrewsbury BID invites shoppers to 'Let Your Christmas Story Start Here' with open air screening

Shrewsbury's first ever Christmas video, promoting the town and it's unique offer, was unveiled by Shrewsbury Business Improvement District (BID) at the town's Christmas Cracker Event on Wednesday 19th November. The film was projected onto the front of the Museum and Art Gallery in the town's Market Square as part of a unique lighting display by Andy McKeown at the Lights Switch-On.

Pilot Research Project Launched to Benefit Shrewsbury

An extensive research project, embarked upon by the Shrewsbury Business Improvement District (BID), has been launched to help direct business and community-led projects to improve the town and enhance the tourist offer. Developed by the BID, Shrewsbury Sixth Form College, Seal Communications, and with help of Shrewsbury Town Council and Shropshire Council, the six month pilot research programme offers valuable work experience and plays a role in extending student knowledge in readiness for A-Level Business Studies assessments.
